Can I just say how much I love my job? Cause I do. I love it!
Okay, now that that is over with, I have some SUPER exciting news! Last summer my husband and I got to be a part of a unique session for the above bride and groom, and last week some of our pictures from the shoot were featured on TV!!! See, I told you it was exciting news! You can check out the video HERE! (Our photos show up at around the 4min mark.)

P.S. For those of you who may not know, a unique session is basically a day for photos (after your wedding) that gives us photographers a chance to be a little more in control of the timing, lighting, location, and everything else that goes into making a fabulous magazine style image that is a little bit harder to get on a busy wedding day (you can also trash that dress if you want to)! It’s also a great way to help couples relax more on their wedding day because they know they’re going to have a second chance to get the best photos possible out of us in case things don’t go exactly as planned on the wedding day.

I wasn’t 100% pleased with my wedding photos so we did a “day after” session a few months later. I didn’t trash my dress though!

This photo is incredible!!! Due to unfortunate circumstances, my hubby and I didn’t get our full wedding pictures last year when we got married…and it’s a huge regret! You and your man realy blessed this couple with these gorgeous photos, wow!!!

How exciting! Congratulations! That photo is stunning, and I love this idea of a “unique session”. It sounds like it really would take the pressure off getting perfect wedding day photos, and seems really fun and laid back!
